We will extensively go over the birthing person’s history, and explore ways that certain things from their past may potentially come up during labor and delivery. We will discuss how they respond when needing comfort and care, and we will create their Birth Preferences. We will go through my Doula bag so both the birthing person (my Client), and their support person, are familiar with the variety of options we have in providing comfort and care during labor and delivery.

From the moment my Client is admitted/confirmed to be in labor/break their water, I am available to provide in-person (or virtual/digital) support. Some Clients would like me present upon admission to the hospital/birthing center, while others prefer I arrive once active labor begins. Each birth/Client is different, and my desire is to be available whenever my Client feels they would benefit from having me present.

I provide 12 hours of Postpartum care, which can be broken up into multiple days/nights. This care consists of basic breastfeeding support, care and feeding of newborn(s), sibling support, light housecleaning, and meal prep. If Postpartum services are needed/desired beyond these 12 hours, I charge $40 per hour.
